two new Tom Ford releases to review and demo for
5.82 -> you guys there are the two quads um I have here
number 38 velorski this is his cream shadow
14.94 -> formula this is the new formula that was released
uh earlier this year and then from his winter
20.94 -> solanage collection I have also one of the quads
a place ski so let me open up the quads and show
28.38 -> you the color stories and I'll talk a bit about
why I decided to purchase one from each of the
37.86 -> um two separate lines of releases I think
they came out at the same time I want to say
42.72 -> um so this is the cream formula and this is velor
khaki um just seeing these greens here I was like
51.42 -> yes I need to get my hands on this and then this
is from the saline Age collection I put ski so of
60.42 -> the two product lines there were actually two
quads released so I put a ski there was also
67.2 -> I think Chalet lust I'll have a photo above that
and then from this line in addition to velor khaki
75.42 -> there was also I think violet sateen or Violet
satin I'll have a photo of that as well so I
83.16 -> thought instead of grabbing you know two of say
you know the cream formula because this is this
89.46 -> I really really enjoy I just wanted to try try one
from each and to be honest I think a pesky looks
95.94 -> beautiful might not seem like it just from looking
at it like this but I'm going to Swatch it for you

swatching then and let me first do velor khaki

fall we have this nice

for the lid then we're going into
146.1 -> the rest uh and I would say the other three Shades
here they're all kind of metallic in Finnish
155.46 -> actually so unlike the first three cream quads
released from Tom Ford that had a lot of matte
164.04 -> Shades these lean on the metallic side they're
actually metallic finish so that's like one of the
169.86 -> main differences but I will do some comparisons
at the end of the video and I want to say
177.54 -> this color story really does remind me of um busy
Arts peridot small petite full I'll take that
188.34 -> out too and we'll see I already know that the
pier Dot from busy art is brighter overall but
193.56 -> there's definitely some similarities in the shade
pairing that I think you'll immediately recognize
199.32 -> so going into saline age I play ski and these
are beautiful that's really caught my attention
211.38 -> I will demo these one look on each eye
220.86 -> and the two are really different I like that I'm
getting subdued deep Shades here with velor khaki
227.88 -> and then a [ __ ] is just brighter sparkly um
yes trending on the kind of foil like metallic
236.7 -> going into velor khaki I'm going to use
the shade and place that all over the lids
245.94 -> next I'm going into this shade here
250.8 -> and just placing that on top of the
Lash line and filling the space here
266.88 -> then I'm going into the shade
272.4 -> and just using it to diffuse the
green shade that I put earlier and
278.64 -> then putting that or blending it into the crease
284.94 -> then taking this pencil brush from Sonia G
I will go into the green here we have to go
290.64 -> through all four Shades and I'm just going
to add that onto the base of the Lash line
298.74 -> and then on the lower lash line as well
303.72 -> all right now I'm going to move
on to a place ski on the left eye
308.58 -> I'm going to start with the shade here and I'm
going to place that very generously on the lid
319.38 -> and you can see just that foil like finish
and you can use these wet as well but the
330.3 -> payoff with them dry I'm really happy with
too if you do use them wet they are quite
337.14 -> intensely they'll get more intense and
you get even more of a foil like finish
345.12 -> taking the shade here and
placing that on the outer corner
360.78 -> and I'm just going to buff this
out before I add any other shades
369.78 -> going back into this shade here I'm
going to place that on the crease
384.42 -> and then with the finger
388.02 -> I'm putting that right here on the inner corner
so that it just looks a bit more interesting
393.6 -> rather than just having what seems like it's
going to be just a lot of this shade here
401.88 -> and so by doing that I lined up this part
right here so that when the light hits it
408.48 -> and when I move it just looks like there's more
interest to it there's more Dimension you know
413.88 -> we kind of go from a little bit lighter to a
concentration of this shade and then it goes
420.06 -> to deeper so for the final touch I am going
to go back and do a little bit more blending
428.22 -> right here and just making sure I am getting
some good color into the crease with the eye
437.22 -> looks finish I do need mascara but I also need
some bronzer blush and highlighter lipstick
444.18 -> so I do want to put some bronzer on I've been
using these These are merits bronze bombs I have
450.42 -> two shades here Quince and Clay so let me take
Quince I'm going to use that for all over glow
460.56 -> and I'm just placing that here along the jawline
466.56 -> in here
473.22 -> it's really really nice it gives you a well
they're very easy to work with being that
480.84 -> their bombs they're not quite as thick
and um pigmented as like a cream bronzer
490.08 -> and because they're a bomb they also give
you a really Natural Glow to your look
503.64 -> and the brush I'm using is from Sonia G's Lotus
set this is the base brush I've been ever since
510.54 -> I've been introduced to using it for bronzer I've
been doing exactly that so thank you for giving
518.1 -> me that idea and it does work really well just
because of the shape being fan shape you saw me
523.62 -> kind of slotted here and then you can also use
it for contouring which is my next step here
543.18 -> and just want a little bit on
the forehead a little bit more
550.8 -> and then I will also put some

nose and this will give it
561 -> more depth for blush I'm taking Tom Ford shade and
illuminate blush duo this is an explicit flush and
571.62 -> I like using both Shades to build more dimensions
on the cheek so first go with the lighter of the
579.12 -> two shades here and just placing that very
lightly but generously kind of all over Syria
593.82 -> and so I'm basically using this lighter shade
to give me a flush effect a flush look then
602.28 -> I'm going back into this brighter shade here
and now we want some you know concentration
609.66 -> right here on this area
620.28 -> like how that looks you can add more if you
enjoy more blush if you enjoy light blush you
625.98 -> can even use less than what I've used you
could also go into one of the two shades
631.86 -> and not do both as well so a lot of flexibility
636.24 -> enjoyed the blush Duos that he came up with I
think fall of last year maybe summer fall of last
642.42 -> year for highlighter I'm using Victoria Beckham's
uh reflect highlighter and she only has one shade
651.42 -> out it's called Pearl the Pearl is beautiful if
you like that kind of stick cream highlighter
660.42 -> that is pretty reflective and has generally
clean ingredients I do recommend this one
669.54 -> so you can see and I'll blend that out a bit
679.2 -> I have some on the nose
689.58 -> and if you guys were wondering whether this like
dries down does it remain tacky um it doesn't dry
695.22 -> down and there is some tackiness to it but I've
never had like it never became a problem where I
702.48 -> would go out and maybe it gets Breezy and I would
have like all this hair stuck on my face because
707.22 -> of it when the wind blows and the hair just kind
of moves like I do kind of move it out of the way
713.52 -> so I didn't really notice any I didn't notice it
becoming bothersome and just being a really major
719.94 -> issue of just like hey my hair keeps getting stuck
on my face because I have this like highlighter
725.34 -> on so um I would say from my experience it's a
non-issue but it does not dry down and there is
731.88 -> some there is some texture too a little bit tacky
um but again I don't it's not really a problem
737.58 -> for me all right with that done I'm gonna put
on mascara and then we'll come back finish the
744.3 -> lips and talk more about the two quads then do
some comparisons for lips I'm going with suku's
750.78 -> sheer matte lipstick in the shade number 14. I
really enjoy their sheer matte lipsticks it does
756.9 -> give you a matte finish but it's not thick you'll
see what I mean some of your natural lip color do
763.2 -> come through but like in a very flattering way so
number 14 should be quite a nice shade for fall
777.36 -> this is the finished look and I really like this
lipstick paired with both of the looks and green
784.92 -> does have a special place in my heart it does not
disappoint the quality of the Shadows from both
791.4 -> quads is no concerns there it's what you would
expect from the brand for a plesky the Soleil nage
800.76 -> I like that um you just get a more sparkly
foil like finish and it's really nice
807.84 -> variety when paired next to um well having
these two released together what I mean is
813.96 -> it's like a really nice variety there's
something for everyone if you don't want
819.54 -> um this kind of finish you've got something
more subdued more fall-like and then you've
826.08 -> got the green or the more purple leaning
quad from I think violet sateen and then
832.98 -> this here's the lineage the other quad Chalet
lust is lighter it's more sparkly rather than
841.44 -> this I would say in comparison relative to Chalet
lust it's more intense and more concentrated in
849.78 -> color payoff when compared to Chalet lust so
for comparisons um I've seen many variations
861.18 -> in the past year year and a half of this color
story and when I hold this up I think you're gonna
868.8 -> immediately see some resemblance here so this is
from busy art and this is the pure Dot from the
876.66 -> Petit full line beautiful beautiful like real
this is like one of my favorite vizier products
884.52 -> um this color story here is gorgeous and I think
pairing these two shades with this brighter green
894.66 -> makes it stand out even amongst all the beautiful
khaki olive green eyeshadow palettes so I'm going
902.22 -> to Swatch this one is similar enough you know the
idea the undertones of the two are different but
908.58 -> the idea is similar enough that this is your base
Shade that's very complementary for these colors
913.92 -> so I'm going to Swatch these two here and then
I'll show you this bright green because it is it
919.56 -> is the um star of the show for this palette so we
have the two and this green is also brighter than
930.18 -> the greens here and that's why I say this from
viziard in general is a brighter color story
942.96 -> finally for that bright green
952.98 -> I wouldn't say it's a direct dupe of
one or the other you just get similar
960.06 -> ideas but one is several tones brighter
or lighter than the other then from Chanel
966 -> this is from the beige collection this
is intense this is limited edition so
970.86 -> it's no longer available but I also find
this to be quite similar to velor khaki
980.28 -> this overall is sparklier and is even lighter
in payoff less intensity than this one here
988.44 -> but I think it's dupable if you missed out
on this I do think you can grab this and
994.98 -> you know be happy with the result but I will
Swatch these two shades so you guys can see
1016.28 -> so you can see what I mean when I did that first
this initial Swatch it looked pretty deep and
1023.78 -> concentrated but the moment I went back in to
diffuse it to just blend it out a little bit
1028.28 -> even it out it really becomes noticeably lighter
and that is the difference between the two this
1037.1 -> is softer less intense less concentrated still
beautiful but you get slightly varying looks
1043.52 -> but the color Story the shades the undertones very
similar compared to each other um from Tom Ford we
1052.82 -> don't have like a sparkly metallic lighter shade
because if you this one's not even suitable as
1058.7 -> a base it's more like a lid topper inner Corner
eye bright eye brightening or even brow bone so
1065.72 -> there's really no light matte base shade that
would be another difference between the two
1074.3 -> but it would say they're comparable for sure
for the Soleil nage collection comparisons
1079.22 -> I did take out from last year Tom Ford's
extreme quad line um this is lava luster
1090.38 -> lava luster is very very intense but I
find that the brightness of the shades
1100.7 -> some similarities but the Finish are
going to be noticeably different this
1106.76 -> is ultimately very eye-catching
very Christmas New Year party
1113.12 -> appropriate and you can see how glittery
these shades are not the case with a place
1121.34 -> ski but I want to take this out and show
you guys so you have another reference
1129.86 -> so you can just see how sparkly these are then we
have going another year further back I think this
1138.62 -> is end of 2021 he did release first Frost
and this is from the soleinage collection
1150.62 -> first Frost and I think the saline Age collection
from the year prior to that when we got
1156.92 -> um I think Soleil Devan and then two other uh two
other color stories they all have the gold here
1164.78 -> but this is silver but they're all part of
the saline Age collection so I'll just put
1169.64 -> these side by side they may look similar but I
can say that these Shades overall are going to
1178.34 -> be deeper than the color story here and then
these two shades are actually very light this
1184.04 -> shade here doesn't do much for me I also
can't use the shade all over the lens it's
1187.88 -> very beautiful I'll show you guys in a moment
here but I can't really use all these colors
1194.48 -> um equally because they just you know they just
don't show up or they're not meant to be used
1198.74 -> that way whereas with this quad here all of these
just show up really nicely on me this one being
1205.34 -> the lightest but it's a beautiful shade that I can
use to well you saw me use it to brighten up this
1212.66 -> area here but I could also use it on the crease to
blend out any seams so let me go ahead and Swatch
1218.42 -> first Frost it's it's beautiful I will say that so
this is first Frost and it is notably cooler I'm
1228.44 -> running out of room here so I think let's yeah
let's use that side the other side of the arm
1234.98 -> that is the pink I was talking about beautiful
this shade here it is a lid topper type and
1242.6 -> then these two shades are a bit deeper
both are brown leaning this has a hint
1247.34 -> of like mauve to it to go with this nice pinky
shade in this kind of like off-white shade here
1256.76 -> um it's a beautiful quad I do
enjoy pairing this with some of the
1262.7 -> um kind of single cream eyeshadows that I have
they're great it just adds more texture and more
1269.9 -> reflective quality to the look and it pairs really
beautifully especially the shade here with some of
1276.5 -> those single Shadows that I have overall I think
this was a very strong release for The Brand both
1284.06 -> velor khaki vilostatine a place ski and Chalet
lust it's just the four combined there's a lot you
1291.44 -> can choose from I mean there's probably something
for everybody and then in addition there was also
1297.98 -> um there were I think five different shade and
illuminate um highlighters that were released
1304.52 -> which I haven't been able to get my hands on yet
interested in those as well so hopefully if I'm
1310.34 -> able to find them I can also so pick one or two
up to review for you guys in demo and I actually
1315.92 -> don't have any of the um of his highlighters so
I'd be interested to try for sure thank you guys
