Every 2023 CX-5 is equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Base S trim levels feature a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated inline-four rated at 187 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque. Turbo models get a 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-four that develops 227 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque on 87-octane gas and 256 hp and 320 lb-ft of torque on 93 octane.
