23.029 -> Okay Cade, welcome to your first lesson. Before we get under way, I want to just run

30.759 -> Okay, so the pedals. The pedals control the motion of the car.
35.89 -> So down here on the floor you'll see we've got two pedals.
39.23 -> On the right you've got an accelerator, that controls the speed of the car.
43.9 -> The one on the left is your brake, okay and that of course slows down or stops
48.75 -> the car. Your foot will be positioned in front of the
52.579 -> brake pedal - your right foot, with the ball of your foot

60.38 -> Then to go to the accelerator, you simply pivot your foot across at a 45

147.92 -> The next is R and that's for reverse. Naturally enough we select that when we want

154.62 -> The next one down is N, that stands for neutral. When the car is in neutral it can freewheel,

220.969 -> So, I put my foot on the foot brake, push the button and go from park to reverse;

244.769 -> you shouldn't have to touch the button, okay and that's a bit of a safety switch.
