Hyundai offers a line of compact hatchbacks under the Ioniq name. The Ioniq launched in the 2017 model year with hybrid and electric variants, followed by a plug-in hybrid shortly after. For the 2022 model year, Hyundai has discontinued the Ioniq Electric, citing the availability of the Kona Electric and the electric Ioniq 5.
