Elantra is the longstanding nameplate affixed to Hyundai’s compact sedan, and a hybrid version launched for 2021. Unlike some hybrids, the Elantra Hybrid looks nearly identical to the standard gas-powered car. The main difference is under the skin, where in addition to its fuel-efficient powertrain, the Elantra Hybrid has independent rear suspension as opposed to the standard car’s torsion beam.
