0.06 -> Hi everyone, Kevin here. Today we're going to
look at how you can connect from a PC, a phone,
6.84 -> or a tablet to another PC. This is perfect if you
want to access one of your devices from a remote
14.82 -> location, or maybe you want to help a relative
with a computer problem. We've all been there.
22.14 -> Once you connect to your device, you have full
control. You can use the mouse and keyboard,
27.96 -> you can listen to the audio, you can even
upload and download files from that device.
34.02 -> Best of all, this is completely free and it's a
tool made by Google called Chrome Remote Desktop.
42.3 -> Let's check out how this works. To get started,
head to the following website on the computer
47.46 -> that you would like to connect to. You can click
on the link in the top right-hand corner or the
52.74 -> link down below in the description of this video.
On this website, on the left-hand side, make sure
59.22 -> that you're in the remote access view. And right
here, let's click on the blue download button.
65.7 -> This works on any Chromium-based browser. It'll
work on Google Chrome and also Microsoft Edge.
70.8 -> Let's click on download. Once the file finishes
downloading, simply click on it to kick off the

name and here it simply goes with kevindesktop.

And here, you also need to select a pin. You'll

computer. Then down below, let's click on start.

to. Here I am now on a different PC and right up

we went to earlier. Once I land on this page, here

PC, all I have to do is simply click on it. Next,

below, I can check this box to remember my pin on

connected remotely to my other PC. I can move my

could even type in text using my keyboard and that

complete control over this computer. Over on the

exposes all of the different settings. Up on top,

the time. Over here, you can disconnect or end

into full-screen mode. That way, it truly feels

Right down here, you have a few different session

resize to fit and then you have smooth scaling.

way the screen looks. Down below, you can also

options. There's VP8 and also VP9. VP9 is a newer

less bandwidth, but it is more resource intensive

the Chrome Remote Desktop app on either the

installing the app, you'll see an interface

should see all of your different remote devices

that will now connect to that device. Down here,

can also set it so your phone remembers your

look at that, my phone is now connected to my PC

with my phone. Of course, for a better experience,

and here I see my entire desktop on my phone
333.12 -> screen. In the bottom right-hand corner, I can
click on this hamburger menu and this opens up

I could show the keyboard. I can change the
342.72 -> trackpad mode. Currently it's set to touch, but
I could also set it so I can move a mouse cursor.

also have some additional settings.

so it fits on my mobile display and here too, we

very bottom, I can also launch various shortcut
