Hey guys, this is Maya Vorderstrasse with What to Expect, and today we’re going to be taking a look at the Graco SnugRide 30LX Click Connect car seat. If your family is looking for a super lightweight and budget friendly car seat, this is the choice for you.

The great thing about this car seat is that it’s super lightweight. With the base, the total weight of the car seat is 11 pounds, and if you’re only using the car seat it is 7 pounds, which allows you to bring baby anywhere and not struggle so much. Another great feature of this car seat is that it attaches to any Graco Click Connect stroller in only one step.

You can use this car seat from the infant days until your child is 35 pounds or one year old. Since we’re moms, our job is to worry sometimes. But, if you’re worried about the safety of this car seat, don’t be. This car seat has met all of the US safety standards and it’s super safe for your baby.

If you’re anything like me and you don’t really like those shades that you can attach to the windows, this canopy rotates and protects your baby from the sun from different angles. It doesn’t matter where it’s coming from.

At $130, this car seat is very budget friendly. But, one of the downfalls is that the material doesn’t feel as cozy and comfortable, and I would feel a little bit worried if the material was bothering my baby. Although this canopy is great for sun protection, please have in mind that some parents have complained that the canopy usually gets stuck on the handle. That’s just something to keep in mind.

I like this car seat even though it’s a little simpler, because to me it’s like a transition car seat. It is very budget friendly. It is safe. And, eventually you’re going to have to upgrade it to a toddler car seat. So, I think it is pretty cost effective, and it keeps your baby safe at all times. If you’re a parent who’s looking for a car seat that is lightweight, that allows you to bring baby up and down the stairs easily, this is the perfect car seat for you.
