2.4 -> Today we are with not just one but two Ford

6.24 -> Ranger Raptors.

21.92 -> OK, so that comes in eight available colours.

25.84 -> Orange and blue lightening with us, both absolutely stunning colours.

29.72 -> I'm actually not sure which one i prefer yet.

32.44 -> Blue is kind of swaying me at the minute.

34.48 -> What we're going do today is we are going to talk about the exterior design.

37 -> We look under the bonnet, talk about the engine,

39.32 -> and we're jump inside and have a look at some interior features.

41.64 -> Let's start looking upfront.

43.08 -> First thing you notice upfront is this huge Ford lettering across the grill.

46.68 -> This probably isn't to everybody's taste, but I think it looks fantastic

50.36 -> and it really ties in well with a menacing looks of the Raptor.

53.4 -> Also on the grill, you've got this little camera

55.36 -> which we'll talk about when we jump inside.

57.16 -> It's got a little window scoosh on here, so if you've been off road

59.76 -> camera gets dirty

60.72 -> when you spray your windows it's going to clean the camera,

62.84 -> which is a really nice feature for when you come apart later on.

65.04 -> As we move down the bumper.

66.36 -> We've got this two and a half millimetre metal plate under here

69.48 -> this basically protects the engine when you're off road.

71.64 -> So if you're off road, you hit any rocks

73.32 -> anything like that, you know your engine is going to be safe.

75.92 -> Also really nice feature about the Raptor is the actual

79.52 -> bottom half of the bumper is separate from the body.

82.24 -> As you can see here, you've got these rubber gators which keeps it separate.

85.44 -> This basically allows the bumper lower half to flex

88.24 -> say you clip anything like a rock or whatever

90.08 -> without doing any damage to the body itself, which a really nifty feature.

93.84 -> Also down here we've got LED fog lights

96.6 -> and we've got these stunning LED matrix headlights.

101.08 -> These feature the c-style daytime LED running

103.88 -> lights, got LED headlamps and your indicators in here as well.

107.68 -> OK, so as we move around the side of the Raptor,

110.16 -> first thing you'll notice is how wide this beast is.

113.04 -> This actually a hundred millimeters wider than the standard Ranger

116.12 -> and overall it's measuring over 2 meters in width.

119.16 -> These arches are really nicely flared and really adds to sort of road presence.

123.2 -> So unchanged from the last Raptor we've got these huge B.F.

127.52 -> Goodrich tyres wrapped on 17inch alloy wheels same style as before

132 -> these just look absolutely awesome really add to that sort of off road presence.

136.08 -> This also sits 270mm high off the ground.

139 -> So it's set higher than the standard Ranger as well.

143.08 -> As we walk along the side, we've got the body coloured mirrors.

145.96 -> They've also got the wee camera underneath as well.

148.12 -> Which we'll show off when we jump in there.

150.04 -> Got these beautiful solid metal steps, which I absolutely love.

155.24 -> These are absolutely solid.

156.88 -> I really like that feature and they're not flimsy like you see in some models.

160.2 -> And, as we come round the back, you'll see we've got just the standard

163.44 -> Raptor sticker pack.

164.8 -> You can actually spec that optional extra pack,

166.8 -> which is shown on the Code Orange model and just depends kind of what you fancy.

172.04 -> Personally, I like this nice and simple look.

175.32 -> As you work your way down the back.

176.64 -> We've got again rear LED tail lights.

179.76 -> Nice feature these I've actually got the built in blind spot radar

183.44 -> and they also take into account if you're towing and you can add length

187.68 -> and you'll also have a blind spot to that trailer, really cool feature.

191 -> As you come round the back of the tailgate.

192.64 -> First thing I want to point out is a really nice touch from Ford, is

200.08 -> That actually matches in as well with the black badging that we've got here.

203.84 -> And you've also got the well known stamped ranger into that tailgate.

208.16 -> Down here we've got two huge towing hooks,

212.04 -> obviously got space for the toolbar as you'd expect.

214.44 -> And you've got those lovely dual exhausts.

217.84 -> So as we open up the tailgate,

220.28 -> the first thing worth pointing out as these cool little flaps,

222.72 -> they've a little clamp logo on them

224.36 -> and what thats for is you can put material on here, clamp on to the tailgate

228 -> and cut away as you like, which is a really cool touch.

230.72 -> Also, you've got some power in here.

232.04 -> In here you've got one 12 volt and also a three pin

236.52 -> so you can plug and a drill or a saw, if you like, and cut away.

240.16 -> So the bed size itself is 1.5 meters

244.48 -> meters between rear wheel arches, meaning you can get plenty of payload in there.

248.04 -> Whilst we are talking about payload it's worth mentioning the towing capacity.

251.84 -> In the Raptor, it's actually slightly down from the Standard Ranger.

254.64 -> This can only tow two and a half tonnes where your standard ranger

257.52 -> can actually tow three and a half tonnes.

259.68 -> OK, so just quickly before we jump inside, talk about interior,

263.44 -> let's look under the bonnet and talk about engine options.

267 -> There's actually two options available.

269.36 -> You've got a 2litre Eco Blue diesel engine or you've got this

273.92 -> 3litre petrol twin turbo V6 monster.

277.68 -> Can't wait to jump and start it up and let you guys hear it.

292.36 -> What you probably noticed there it's keyless start

294.48 -> so you just in with your keys in your pocket

296.12 -> and your start button round here to turn the car on and off.

299.76 -> OK, so design wise in here it's actually really similar to the new Ranger.

304.56 -> What makes it different though, with it being

306.08 -> the Raptor is you've got these nice red highlights around the grills.

309.84 -> They're also continued onto the steering wheel, where you have got the red stitch,

312.8 -> you've got Raptor down here in the bottom.

314.52 -> You got this nice sort of leather center

316.44 -> trim like a sports car, which is really cool.

319.32 -> The seats themselves as well.

320.52 -> You've got about the red leather with red stitch

322.56 -> and you've also got Raptor up here as well to match in with the wheel.

327.32 -> Seats themselves are really comfortable and unbelievably soft.

331.92 -> With your leather, little bit of Alcantara and a really fun fact is

335.44 -> these are actually based on an F-22 fighter jet seat design.

340.68 -> Infotainment in the Raptor is absolutely brilliant.

343.36 -> First thing is this lovely 12 inch touchscreen,

347.16 -> really responsive, incredible resolution.

349.76 -> And it's got the new Ford Sync 4 software, which is brilliant.

353.88 -> It's got Android Auto, it's got Apple CarPlay

357.36 -> and all the sounds coming through the ten speaker B&O system, which is fantastic.

363.6 -> that I like is in the Raptor you've got these analog heating controls.

368.24 -> They're also though reflective in the touchscreen.

370.44 -> So it gives you the option to either control by a touch screen

373.44 -> or control it by all controls, just depending on what you prefer.

378.48 -> Another great feature of the Raptor is

380.28 -> you get this digital dash as standard, which I absolutely love.

384.12 -> Love digital dashes really modern and this looks great in the Raptor.

388.44 -> What's really nice is when you're changing between your modes, you get these

391.2 -> really cool animations between offroad to rain, snow, sand.

397.12 -> And I just love how they've had a bit of fun with this.

399.52 -> Other nice creature comforts that are worth

400.88 -> pointing out is you've got heated seats and steering wheel in here,

404.68 -> and I forgot to mention these both front seats are electrically controlled

408.68 -> so you can control your lumbar support.

409.84 -> You can see forwards, backwards, move up and down and get yourself

412.92 -> really, really comfortable.

414.68 -> Other nice features is you've got wireless charging in here

418 -> and you've also got your USB and your USBC down here too, which is great.

423.48 -> Whilst we are in here it's

424.44 -> worth talking about a really nifty feature that I love

427.92 -> when you slide the car in to drive

433.92 -> it's got this really nifty auto park feature

436.36 -> where the gear selector moves itself to park You just get out and walk away.

441.56 -> It's also worth noting that there's some incredible safety features

446.36 -> There's so many we need to just rattle through them.

448.92 -> We've got auto emergency braking with pedestrian detection, we've got front

452.76 -> and rear sensors.

454.28 -> Auto dimming rear view mirror, blindspot built in to the mirror

458.16 -> and the rear LED lights like we already spoke about.

460.08 -> We have got lane keep assist we've got radar cruise control

463.8 -> and we've got full 360 degree cameras.

467.12 -> When you pull this into the reverse, you get to see this view.

471.08 -> You've got the rear view

472.48 -> reversing camera above and down here you've got this full 360.

475.96 -> What a do like though, if you jump on this menu,

478.2 -> you can sort of play around to how you want this to look.

480.36 -> So you can hit this button here and it gives you

481.8 -> almost like there's radar, which is full sensors around the car

485.32 -> so if you're trying to fit into a tight space

486.44 -> you can use that.

487.44 -> Also, you can adjust the back camera

490.12 -> angle to look down onto your tow hook from above.

493.44 -> And you can also just tweak it so you can get perfectly latched on to

497.08 -> whatever you are deciding to tow.

498.24 -> So that's a few of the features in the Raptor up

500 -> front, let's jump in the back and I'll show you a couple more.

503.68 -> OK, so in the back again, lovely place to be.

506.92 -> Plenty of space, but what I wanted to show you guys is if you lift this rear seat

512.16 -> got a couple of extra storage compartments.

514.84 -> And this seat also pulls down

518.24 -> and you've got your top tethers for you child seat, you've got your subwoofer down

521.64 -> here as well from your B&O, and you've also got your jack down here as well.

527.36 -> Down here we've

528 -> also got a USB and USBC and love this feature.

532.72 -> You've got the three pin in the back.

533.92 -> And as you can see, charging my camera batteries with it right now.
