Ford EcoSport 2022 Review
Ford EcoSport 2022 Review
The EcoSport might be Ford’s least appealing vehicle. This subcompact offers a cheaper alternative to the Bronco Sport or Escape, but its underpinnings—shared with the old Ford Fiesta—leave much to be desired.

0.229 -> The EcoSport might be Ford's least appealing
vehicle.
3.3 -> This subcompact offers a cheaper alternative
to the Bronco Sport or Escape, but its underpinnings—shared
8.57 -> with the old Ford Fiesta—leave much to be
desired.
12.32 -> Ford offers just one humble engine under the
hood of its smallest SUV.
15.769 -> A 2.0-liter naturally aspirated inline four-cylinder
that puts out 166 hp and 149 lb-ft is standard.
24.78 -> When we brought one to our track, it reached
60 mph in a still sluggish 9.9 seconds.
30.6 -> Efficiency fails to impress, too, at 23/29
mpg.
36.04 -> The EcoSport only earns a four-star overall
safety rating from the NHTSA, which awards
40.73 -> five-star ratings to the vast majority of
modern vehicles that undergo its crash testing.
45.45 -> Blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic
alert are optional on the SE and Titanium
49.52 -> but standard on the EcoSport SES.
52.52 -> We struggle to think of an infotainment display
smaller than the 4.2-inch unit in the base
56.66 -> EcoSport S. Thankfully, the EcoSport SE, Titanium,
and SES work with an 8.0-inch touchscreen
62.52 -> with newer infotainment software plus Apple
CarPlay and Android Auto.
66.54 -> Navigation is included with the SES and Titanium.
70.06 -> Six-speaker audio is standard, and seven-
and 10-speaker systems are available.
