0.5 -> Hi, my name is Mackenzie, and today I'm going to walk you through how to brew a fun and easy brewing method, the Aeropress.
8.717 -> What I love about the Aeropress is it's really quick,
11.511 -> It's an easy cleanup, and it makes just a single cup of coffee about 8 ounces.
15.765 -> For your grind setting, use a medium paper filter grind.
19.519 -> It should be about the coarsness of sea salt.
21.938 -> I'm going to show you the inverted method.
24.024 -> First take your plunger and insert it until its at the top of the 4 circle inside the brew chamber.
29.946 -> We're going to add a heaping scoop of ground coffee to the Aeropress chamber.
34.409 -> Now we're going to take our hot water and we're going to pour until it reaches the top of the 3 circle.
39.539 -> Now we're going to wait about 30 seconds for the coffee to extract.
43.376 -> After 30 seconds, take the stirring paddle
46.004 -> and give the coffee a gentle 3 stirs.
48.965 -> Fill the Aeropress chamber with hot water to the very top.
53.053 -> Now lets put on our filter cap and make sure it's screwed on tightly.
57.057 -> After this, you want to wait another minute and 30 seconds.
60.226 -> After a total brew time of 2 minutes,
62.771 -> You're going to take your cup and place it on top of the Aeropress.
67.567 -> Holding both the brew chamber and the plunge at the same time,
70.695 -> flip the Aeropress so that it is sitting on top of the cup.
74.365 -> Plunge the coffee carefully and gently, until you have pushed all the coffee out of the brew chamber.
81.456 -> There you have it, a new single cup brewing method that you can try at home.
