It has been 11 months from the day I have purchased my Ford Figo Titanium blu diesel and I have driven it for around 20,000 kilometres in which 3 services has been done. Moreover my Figo’s 2nd year insurance is also due next month, so in this video I’ll be sharing my views on the experience I had with Ford India’s service and customer relations. Which will also include the individual cost of 3 services incurred and the quote I received for Figo’s 2nd year zero depreciation insurance renewal premium.

I’ll also discuss the experience I had as an owner of Ford Figo diesel, what I like about it and what I don’t, how reliable is it and how happy or sad I am for the decision I took for choosing Ford Figo Titanium blu against all odds.

0 -> It has been 11 months from the day I have purchased my Ford Figo Titanium blu diesel
9 -> and I have driven it for around 20,000 kilometres in which 3 services has been done.

52 -> So lets start with the servicing cost of Figo diesel which I believe is the most important criteria for a prospective new car buyer.
62 -> My Figo came with 2 free services and a standard warranty of 5 years or 1 Lakh kilometres whichever is earlier.
69 -> But now the BS6 Figo, Aspire and Freestyle comes with 3 years or 1,00,000 kilometres warranty as standard.
106 -> And if you’re facing any sort of issue or problem related to your car, you can tell the service station to fix it.
152 -> Reading, listening or watching is different and experiencing it is different
156 -> I’ve heard quite a lot from bloggers, You-tubers, Ford existing owners and from Ford sales representatives
164 -> that the servicing and maintenance cost of present generation cars are now affordable but I still doubted to some extent
170 -> and now I can assure you that the servicing cost of all present generation cars are very much affordable.

204 -> The service cost that was mentioned in Ford's official website was the actual charge I paid to service centre.
223 -> as his WagonR’s 20,000 kilometres service costed him Rs 5,000 and Swift Zdi’s 20,000 kilometres service cost him Rs 6,500.
237 -> My Figo’s 1st year’s zero depreciation insurance and 3 years third party insurance costed me for Rs 23,000 while I have been quoted Rs 14,000 for pan India cashless zero depreciation insurance which I’ll be renewing next month.
250 -> I am also very much satisfied with Ford’s after sale services.
256 -> I like keeping my car in mint condition, so there was some rattling in the co-driver side door and some rattling from boot.
270 -> So for these small niggles Ford rectified it without giving any single excuse which was quite impressive
296 -> as I’ve experienced few other car manufacturers ignoring these small issues.
303 -> What I love about Ford's after sale services is the fact that they never ignore any issues faced by their vehicles even if they are small niggles.
310 -> Once my car’s RPM was fluctuating and above 3rd gear and above my car was over accelerating
325 -> and I was worried that what If Ford service centre people ignores this problem by giving silly excuses.
340 -> as the problem was inconsistent and occurring sometimes.
343 -> So how am I going to convince them that there’s actually a problem,
348 -> but Ford service centre people without doubting rectified it too that too within 10 mins.
363 -> but the service representative insisted me to keep my Figo for 2 hours under observation to examine and find out the exact cause for this problem
374 -> After examining they found out that the clutch was not engaging fully due to the floor matt due to which the sensors were unable to sense gear change.
395 -> After rectifying this issue I have driven my Figo for about 15,000 kilometres and I haven’t faced any single issue thereon.
406 -> Every other car incurs small niggles but what matters is the fact that how seriously does the service centre addresses, handles or rectifies the problem
420 -> so for this I would rate Ford after sale service as 100/100.
423 -> So now if I Talk about my Figo’s positives and negatives
428 -> or you can say “ what I like about my Figo and what I dislike”
433 -> then I would start with it’s negatives as they are few but I have a never ending list of it’s positives.
440 -> I don’t have any problem with the seat covers of my Figo Titanium blu diesel as of now
445 -> but I fear is the fact that what if I get bored by its looks in future or what if the seat covers gets worn out, then I won’t be left with any other option except to live with it
451 -> Because the front seat of Figo Titanium blu has side airbags in them.
463 -> But if you look at the brighter side then having extra airbags is any day better than having fancy seat covers.
478 -> Other negative is that the stereo of Ford Figo doesn’t get Android auto and apple CarPlay.
482 -> what I mean is that Figo Blu is a fully feature loaded hatchback and it has few extra features too than all it’s rivals
491 -> It would have been great if Ford would have offered it,
498 -> I mean it has rain sensing wipers, auto headlamps and auto dimming internal rear view mirror,
510 -> So Ford Figo would have been complete feature loaded without any compromise if Android auto was there.
526 -> Now if I talk about the things which I love about my Figo then the first thing would be it’s excellent performance.
532.5 -> It has excellent driving dynamics too in terms of
546 -> ACCELERATION, STEERING FEEDBACK, HIGH SPEED STABILITY, GEARBOX KI FUNCTIONING AUR BRAKING.
553 -> So if you’re planning to buy a performance oriented budget hatchback, then look no further than the Figo Diesel.
576 -> Ford Figo Titanium blu has 6 airbags which adds to more safety.
581 -> It has excellent built quality, doors are heavy and the paint quality is excellent too as the paint as the paint is not prone to minor scratches.
591 -> Interior quality is good too and offers are fortified feel.
596 -> Seats are comfortable too and cabin is spacious.
606 -> Figo’s positives are never ending and if you ask me how satisfied am I with my Figo Blu, Rate it out of 100; then I would give full marks to Ford Figo as it is a complete VFM package.
