SUV's, and manufacturers tend to mainly focus on them as well.
24.459 -> That can be seen in the life cycle of the traditional D-segment car, because
that's being stretched to an enormous amount.
30.559 -> Take this Volkswagen Passat for example. It's been around for five years,
and only now they've facelifted it for the first time.
40.784 -> As you can see, we've got the facelifted GTE here, because that's
one of the most interesting changes in the new Passat.

was recognizable by the LED-corners over here. Other Passat's

And I can hear you think, the changes aren't that big.

they've changed some things as well. Different rear lights for example,

incredibly popular because of the low additional taxes.

horsepower. There's an electric motor producing 115 horsepower...

lithium-ion battery in the back, which now produces 13,3 kWh.

purely electric force. It can do 56 km to be exact according to WLTP.

the current WLTP-range to NEDC, this GTE would do 70 km.

fully electrically on a single charge, you're doing good.

engines have received new parts or have been improved.

150 horsepower. All of the TSI's and TDI's have been changed.

Right, at the top of the range, there has been a change as well.

with a very agressive black front fascia.

or a 2.0-litre BiTDI producing 240 horsepower.

because it won't be coming to the Netherlands.

The new adaptive cruise control and lane keeping...

to the cars in front.
330.475 -> What I especially find interesting is the traffic sign recognition.
Partly because of the satnav, it's able to look forward very far.
338.414 -> So if you're doing 170 km/h in Germany and you need to go to
120 km/h in the distance, it'll anticipate very quickly.
345.906 -> That works pretty well. It's able to keep it between the lines,
but not in an impressive manner or anything.

are still on a level of their own.
372.566 -> Technically speaking, the Passat is up to date again
and the GTE has made a lot of new steps.

as in a Mazda 6, or from the design like from a 508 SW.

been the easy going, unexciting but very good car.
