3.42 -> at Holiday Ford in Fond du Lac. Today, we're going to take a closer look at a

6.78 -> 2023 Ford F-150 Platinum with a black appearance package.

10.8 -> The first thing we're going to look at on the 2023s is the 75th anniversary of the

15.3 -> F-150. You have the nameplate on the top. The same thing happens as soon as you light up the

20.58 -> screen on the inside. You'll get the 75th Anniversary badge right across the screen.

25.32 -> On the exterior of these black appearance packages, a few things are going to stand

30 -> out to you. The first one is going to be this unique Tremor style Raptor hybrid Hood with

36.18 -> these functional heat extractors in the hood. You're going to have the Tremor style black

40.56 -> grille that's going to be in gloss black, and your black smoked Chrome emblems in the front.

44.94 -> On the Platinum trim level, you're going to have a black headlight housing for the

49.56 -> LED headlights along with gloss black 20-inch wheels as well.

54 -> Now, one other feature that Ford has added to the F-150 is this proximity key. As soon as I get

59.94 -> within a certain amount of feet of the vehicle, those power deploy-able boards are going to come

63.48 -> out and greet me to the vehicle. So that way, it's not catching me any ankles or coming down.

68.4 -> They've also added a kick switch for the power deploy-able board back here. If I want to fold

74.1 -> them up or down to get into the box, there's a small pressure pad right here. You can kick it

78.9 -> with your foot, and the board will come out. And on your key fob, there will be a remote tailgate

83.7 -> function. I could double tap the tailgate release. This will come down nice and easy.

89.1 -> Now, one of the best parts about this, let's say I have a bunch of items in my

95.46 -> lift this about three inches, and the tailgate will take itself up the rest of the way.

99.78 -> The black appearance package does have an integrated dual exhaust system, and the

110.1 -> Also, in 2021, the 360 camera package has become a lot more available in this truck.

177.96 -> it'll put me in four high and it'll lock my rear axle as well as turn off my traction control.

186.36 -> One key note on the 2023s is that those of you who use Apple CarPlay

195.78 -> You'll see a camera icon. If I select that, it'll pull up my different camera views.

199.98 -> I can go full front 180-degree front, a center high mount stop lamp camera.

206.82 -> This one would be an auxiliary camera for a camper or trailer. Then, before like I was talking about,

212.34 -> your backup camera, and then your trailer hitch receiver camera. And this one is a

216.72 -> trailer camera. It's going to use those two side mirrors, and it's going to shoot

285 -> In 2021, Ford did also introduce the interior work surface for those of you who like to work

290.46 -> out of your vehicle. On the side of the shifter, there is a small button that will

298.98 -> flips over into a table-slash-workstation, perfect for those of you who like to eat in your vehicle,

313.68 -> You have two controls: one for the shade and then one for the glass.

324.6 -> This particular F-150 does come equipped with the B&O Unleashed sound system. It's

329.46 -> an 18-speaker system in the truck. Places a speaker in the headliner,

335.7 -> In 2021, Ford also introduced our dual glove boxes. You have the standard glove box down here,
